For the first time, Lit Lamps is heading to the National Women’s Show Vancouver 2026. Along with some of our terracotta lighting and home décor favourites, we’ll be bringing something new to the show- a collection of five newly launched wooden lighting designs. Visitors will have the chance to explore our latest designs in person, see the details up close, and discover different ways to bring the warmth of natural materials into their homes.
What Is Lit Lamps Bringing to the National Women’s Show?
Our first National Women’s Show is a chance for us to bring together some of the lighting designs that represent Lit Lamps, from our handcrafted terracotta pieces to our newest wooden collection. You’ll find lighting and home décor made for different parts of the home, whether you’re looking for a statement piece, a warm accent light, or a small lamp for a bedside table or work space. The show’s focus on shopping, independent makers, and home and design makes it a natural place for us to introduce our latest designs and meet people who enjoy bringing thoughtful details into their homes.
Meet Our New Wooden Lighting Collection
The new collection brings together five wooden lighting designs, each with a different shape and purpose. The three pendant lights—Caden, Petra, and Helix—are designed to add interest from above, while the Vera wall lamp offers a simple way to bring light to your walls. The Verdan table lamp adds a smaller lighting option for surfaces such as bedside tables, desks, and consoles. Together, these designs give you different ways to use natural wood as part of your home lighting.
Caden Wooden Pendant Light
The Caden is made for spaces where the light itself can become part of the room's design. Its sculptural spiral shape creates a distinctive look, while the wooden structure allows light to spread through the shade and create radial patterns. It can work well above a dining table, in a living room, bedroom, or even a reading corner where you want the lighting to stand out.

Petra Wooden Pendant Light
The Petra takes its inspiration from the natural shape of a pinecone. Its layered wooden shade highlights the grain of the wood while creating decorative patterns when the light is on. This makes it a good choice for spaces such as dining areas, living rooms, bedrooms, or entryways where you want both useful lighting and a decorative feature.

Helix Wooden Pendant Light
The Helix has a clean cylindrical shape with a slatted wooden shade. Its simple form makes it easy to pair with modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, and minimalist interiors, while the slats create warm patterns of light. It can be used in living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, or reading corners.

Bring Warmth to Your Walls
The Vera Wooden Wall Lamp offers a simple way to add light without taking up floor or table space. Its wooden design can work well as an accent light in bedrooms, hallways, living rooms, or other areas where you want a softer layer of lighting. It is a good option when you want your walls to be part of the overall lighting design rather than relying only on a ceiling light.

A Smaller Light With a Big Design Presence
The Verdan Wooden Table Lamp brings a touch of nature to smaller spaces with its tree-shaped, laser-cut wooden design. It can be placed on a bedside table, desk, or living room surface, making it useful for both everyday lighting and decoration. It also offers three light colour options—white, warm, and neutral—so you can change the feel of the space depending on the time of day or activity.

Which New Wooden Lamp Is Right for Your Space?
Each design in the new collection has a different look and works well in a different part of the home. If you want a statement light for a dining area or living room, the Caden, Petra, or Helix pendant lights can become a focal point above the space. For areas where you want to add light without using a ceiling fixture, the Vera wall lamp offers a practical option. And if you need a smaller light for a bedside table, desk, or console, the Verdan table lamp can add a warm decorative touch. The idea is simple: choose the design based on the space you want to light and the kind of atmosphere you want to create.
Why We Chose Wood for This New Collection
Wood brings something different to lighting. Its natural grain, texture, and warm appearance can make a room feel more inviting while adding visual interest even when the light is switched off. It also works well with a range of interior styles, from simple and modern spaces to Scandinavian and Japandi-inspired homes. For this new collection, we wanted to explore how wood could bring the same sense of warmth and character that people love about our terracotta designs, while giving us new shapes and ways to use lighting around the home.
